Anybody notice this guy is turning into a 5-tool player?

Sure he's no where close to Beltran's or Soriano's level but you might be able to get him for nothing on the WW.

He finished with a fair amount of ROY votes last year considering the guys that he was up against. He got more votes than Tex and everybody seems to fall all over themselves about him. Cleveland's offense as a whole is better and Gerut should reap the rewards from the 3 hole. Check out this blurb.

David Lipman of ESPN.com wrote:...Gerut's OPS mark ranked 61st in baseball, placing him right between Carlos Lee and Rondell White, meaning that at age 25, he played last season as a solid major league regular. Yankees outfielder Hideki Matsui, lauded for his 106 RBI, finished 30 spots lower. Perhaps the general public's affinity for RBI and batting average (Matsui hit .287 to Gerut's .279) and the spotlight of playing in New York got Matsui 10 first-place Rookie of the Year votes to none for Gerut. He may have fallen short in the hardware department, but Jody Gerut clearly had a great season in 2003 should be a very significant presence in the middle of the Cleveland lineup.

I wish my league wasn't full of people near the clevleand area so I could have got Gerut at a reasonable price on draft day... :-/ Him going undrafted in a league is a travesty.

We need to see your roster to see whether you need power or speed more.

Konerko would get my vote. You're good at 1B with Pujols and Green.
