We just had someone release Huff for Doub Mient (cant spell his name) of the twins. What to do?? It really waters down a league when crap like this happens. Im thinking about making that team pick back up huff??? Afterall, this is a dynatsy keeper league. Any thoughts?
odd - I assume its a league with people you know, If the guy is really that down on Huff what can ya do. Meintkiewicz is pretty nice & better than Huff this year. You cant really tell a guy what to do. We all think Huff is gonna be great & probably will but if thats his opinion u cant run his team.
Agreed. I wouldn't do it but I don't think you can hold it against a team who wants to waive Huff right now. Personally I think Huff is worth waiting 300 ABs for but if he's had enough after 100+ I'd be OK with it. Just my $.02.

I do think it's crazy. Like I said I wouldn't do it. But nobody can guarantee that Huff will put up numbers like he has the last two years. For all we know this guy is the smart one making the right move.

I mean i would be upset too if someone in my league did it & i do think Huff is much better than Doug M , just saying if the guy is really that down on Huiff & is a normal fantasy player, what can ya do. commish has to be fair, cant run peoples teams. If he wsa to dropp Huff for nothing than it would be a problem
Don't seel Meintkiewicz short, he's a quality player. I'm sure lots of guys are tired of waiting for Huff to get going. You can't wait forever. What if you stop him and Huff hits .220 this season? Nobody can say with certainty that Huff will outperform Meintkiewicz. I'll bet Huff is wondering himself.
Let it go, then you pick up Huff off the WW if you think that much of him.
its a dynasty keeper league right? huff shouldnt have been dropped. however, the job of the commish is to make sure cheating doesnt happen and the league rules are upheld, not to prevent people from doing stupid things.
trailblazur, is this the first yr for your league? Who are you playing with? Normally Dynasty leagues are made up of a very tight group of people you know personally, and have been playing a while with. Is this not the case?
The fact that you are seriously considering forcing an owner to do something is a much much greater concern in my mind than someone dropping an underperforming 5th-6th rd pick.
