Man this team is so much fun to watch. 2-2 in 8th with 0 outs and 2 on. Nate Field gives up a single and walk but gets out of 8th 3-2. Scoreless Royal 8th. Field's pitches a 1-2-3 9th and then the Royals...Desi Relaford leads off inning with a single. Beltran walks and Sweeney doubles in both for Royal win.
Doubly as nice, Field's pitched well so maybe he will be closer. Adams blow the save so maybe Frasor will get the job.

Let the debate begin anew...who's next in line for saves in Toronto? My money's on Ligtenberg.

Lightenberg didn't pitch well in the 8th and they took him out with 2 outs for Adams. I think it might be Frasor.

My money is on Lopez having the most saves in Toronto this year.

Ligtenberg got saved by Adams in today's game though....he gave up 2 hits and than he was relieved by Adams, who got the final out in the 8th. I think Frasor is going to be the closer at the end of the season, its only a matter of when he gets the job.

I love it when ESPN actually has GOOD games on. Pure luck I know but still. I have Beltran and Sweeney and even if I didn't I still think Beltran is one of the funnest guys to actually watch play. He is so good that you never know what he will come up with or what magical play he can make-both batting and fielding. It's a little bit like watching the old Griffey in that you always had to watch because you never knew if it would be a 500 foot bomb or a ridiculous diving catch. Great game great game great game.

How about that Juan Gonzalez, the only one who wasn't happy with the victory? He seriously looked pissed that he didn't get a chance to hit.
