not a delgado owner. I don't think he'll reproduce last years numbers but I think he will end up MUCH MUCH better than what he has been doing up until now.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

If I were you I'd drop him...and then if I were me I'd pick him up
If that makes sense to you then good...
Seriously, what are your options? Sit him? No way in hell, he's too damned good. Drop him? Are you kidding, he's Delgado. Trade him? and get what for him, the way he's sucking right now. about him? The only thing you can do!!!
An unanswered question is better than an unquestioned answer
if you are really getting tired of him, sit him for a while.

When I read the title of this post, I thought you were being silly, so I went back and checked it out just to make sure.
I traded for Delgado, and inserted him in my lineup on the 23rd of April. It is now the 11th of May, and through yesterday's games (so between the 23rd of April and 10th of May, or roughly 15 games) he is hitting .293 with 3 homers, 12 Rs, and 13 RBIs. Those are my team log numbers for him. If he is this steady all season, he'll put up similar numbers to last year.
I know he sucked in the beginning of the year, but that doesn't mean he's sucking that bad right now.
He wont put up #'s like last year, w/out looking i recall he drove in 140 + ribbies & hit 40 + homers, maybe 40 homers, MAYBE but no way is he driving in 140 ribbies & i dont think he will hit for as high of average
