My view is that Felix has two pitches. 4 seam fast ball, and a pretty killer slider. His new change-up isn't bad, but I dont think we'll see it too often, as sometimes he hangs it, and boom, goodnight.
The thing with Felix, is that if he's off, he's hittable. He's not a solid consistent closer/setup as he used to be, otherwise, he would of been the primary closer.
I think you may be reading into it too much - when they say they;re resting herges, they may be in fact, just resting herges.
herges doenst seem to be a 3-up 3-down kinda guy - more of a finesse pitcher that relies on pop-ups and ground balls to get his saves.
i think they may start grooming felix, just in case herges fouls up or gets hurt. makes sense. could be an indication Nen isn't on his way back....
