Beltre is a great choice, although I haven't seen too many savvy owners that think he has a snowballs chance of avoiding an massive, obliterating swandive. So they're/we're not interested in buying.
Michael Young/Adam Dunn/Craig Wilson are my choices. None of those guys quite leave the sour taste in your mouth that Beltre does after so many disappointing seasons. You just might be able to get legitimate ballers for them.

Even if the above were true, which I doubt, Nomar plays SS. I'd still much rather have Nomar. And while Cabrera also has 3B eligibility, 3B is INSANELY deep this year, who would have thought?
(Edit): Oh, and I forgot to mention, as deep as 3B is right now, SS is even more remarkably shallow. I should know, I'm the one fighting for a spot in the wading pool (Everett, Cintron, Uribe, etc. etc. etc. )
And Cabrera wont have eligibility at 3b next year

I sold Mesa high. Packaged him with Renteria for ARod. I loved Joe Table for how nice he has been for me, but I also was just sitting around waiting for him to implode. Plus with the Pirates losing Mondesi and their SP coming back down to earth, his save ops have aren't very consistant anymore.

Are we all forgetting that Nomah! is hurt and appears to be in crappy condition. Why trade for him now and give up Cabrera for him. Cabrera will be huge for a while longer. I think you gave up way to much for an injured player.
I got Webb/Prior and vidro for Wade Miller and Adam Dunn. To me Webb and Miller are a wash so in my mind I got Prior and Vidro for Dunn. He burned me last year but now if Prior comes back strong I'll forgive Dunn.
