Wood feels tightness in arm, leaves game

Los Angeles, CA (Sports Network) - Chicago Cubs starting pitcher Kerry Wood left the mound after only two innings and did not return while suffering the loss in the Cubs' 7-3 setback to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.

Wood (3-3) experienced tightness in his right triceps after allowing three runs -- two earned -- on three hits with two strikeouts.

The All-Star hurler will be examined Wednesday.
