What worries me is his power numbers. He had a decent week last week in terms of averages, but he had, what, 1 rbi? I just looked up his splits. His averages were a little lower, but he was pretty consistent with his HR and RBIs.
He worries me, as do Huff, Sheff, Wells (who's looking a bit better). -sigh-
I had Carlos last year. he was batting .176 up until the all-star break, I waived him, of course he goes 3-5 homers. I'm lucky enough to pick him back off waivers and he's a stud for the rest of the season..
I have had him on my team for three years. He is maybe THE streakiest guy in MLB. Do not do anything dumb like drop him. It may not happen until July, but he will have a month where he goes nuts and hits .350 with 8HRs--it happens every year. He may have a few crappy months, but stick with him, he will produce over the course of the season,

Brian Daubach is the streakiest guy in MLB
I just picked up Carlos Lee from waivers too, I'm pretty pleased with the pickup, though mightily DISpleased with his 0/5 in a 15-0 romp...BAD LOOKS! I can't really afford the bench spot with Garret Anderson and Nomah out already and Huff slumping like the 1932 stock market, but he's as good an option as any right now.
Rest in peace Mitch Hedberg. I name my fantasy team "Buoyancy of Citrus", in your honor.

Yeah...it's really more the exception than the rule though...the only other bad move I can think of was dropping Johnny Damon, by the same owner who dropped Lee...even if he can't slug the ball he will steal 30 bases...theres definitely trade value there...I guess the guy who owned them just isn't very patient...but hey, I wound up with both guys so more power to me!
