Well said. Obviously if they could take out Daigle and get him more seasoning and move Dessens to middle relief then they would. It would be nice not to have to rely on a guy like Sparks in your rotation either, but they don't have that luxury.

Sparks hasn't been too bad of an investment so far. Going off of what he's done so far this year, I don't think he's a bad guy to have at the tail end of a rotation. It's just not good when your three and five starters are essentially tail end starters, too.
