From Rotoworld.com
Royals optioned RHP Mike MacDougal to Triple-A Omaha.
One bad week was all it took the Royals to decide that MacDougal needs to work through his problems in the minors. They probably would have showed more faith in the 2003 All-Star had the rest of the pen been more successful. If MacDougal can put some good innings together, he probably won't be kept in Omaha for more than 10 days. He's still the best bet to lead the Royals in saves this year.
Well this is exactly what I was hoping for when I drafted him. I dont know why rotoworld always insists he'll get the job back. If someone steps up...

Justin Huisman (pronounced Heisman) should win the closer's job in KC. He is their top closer prospect. He's saved 78 games the last 3 years and a sub 2.00 ERA. Go get 'em! He's been recalled by the Royals.
Might not get the first look at closing but should get the job. He is a far better pitcher than Nate Field.

Its true, the Kc kid is a big time closer prospect. He has been lights out in AAA and is the future closer for the Royals.
Will it be this year? im not sure. but you never know
