Is it just me, or does it seem to others like he is babying his injury and is nursing it probably more than it needs to be? Do you think this has anything to do with him being a free agent next year? I drafted him in hopes of him returning mid to late April, this is now getting rediculous. Every time I read an article on his injury, he is constantly mentioning how he has no "timetable" for the his recovery. It just seems to me like he is nursing this injury a bit too much.
Also..... Does anyone know of a good site that posts all MLB injuries? The one at mlb.com is not good, it only lists player on the DL. I have a number of players on my team who are day-to-day and it would help if I could know in more detail what is wrong with them and when they should return.
Thanks

severe cases of achilles tendinitis can take a long time recover from so if he really has it then his recovery seems to be going fine. unlike other injuries, this is something you dont want to rush back from. if it isnt completely healed then he could cause more damage. the only that seems strange is that he said it was caused by fouling a ball of his foot. i didnt know that could cause tenditis but then again i am not doctor.

that is one possibility... the other is that the red sox doctors are under instructions to keep stalling to lower his free market value and then be in a position for the red sox to overpay when the offer day comes along...
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I can see the Dodgers paying him whatever it takes to get him if the Sox don't sign him before the season ends. I hate to say it, but I doubt Nomar will be in a Sox uniform next year....better pre-order your Vidro jersey Sox fans.

Do Prior and Nomar have the same injury? If so, I don't hear anyone complaining that Prior is taking to long.
