Does anybody know the White Sox catcher situation? Olivo has been splitting time with Alomar, but recently I heard that Alomar got injured. If Olivo is gonna play everyday, I am gonna pick him up. Is Alomar done?

martinez was in a slump. olivio or "o-rod" said that he wants to be better than ivan rodriquez (his idol) next season. look at the kid's game:
Player AB R H HR RBI BB SB BA OBP SLG
Martinez 99 15 25 5 19 11 0 .2525 .3363 .4545
Olivo 60 13 18 3 15 6 3 .3000 .3636 .5500
for the fewest at-bats he leads the league in bases stolen by a catcher. he hits for average, there is only 1 sox pitcher that he does not catch. and he is in the middle of that potent sox lineup. have you seen this guy run the bases? he might be the fastest catcher in the league....
every week i listen to the olivio owner in my league singing the praises of his waiver wire pickup (due to the loss of mauer)
right now olivio is better gloves down.....

He is good but apparently not good enough for people to spell his name right. It's OLIVO not Olivio. Yes, Martinez is better.
