It's gotten very quiet,
All the supporters have gone.
Where oh where are you guys,
Now that he's done?
Is it the 4.2 per 9 k rate,
That's got you afraid?
Or is it the era,
4.34 is normal I must say.
Even his biggest supporter,
Has not changed his sig.
Scary indeed,
For those who bet big.
Back to the darkness I will go,
But it's gotten very silent,
In Loaizaville.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
He's done already?!?!?!?! PLEASE say it isn't so. I was hoping to package him in a trade.
Hopefully, the other managers don't read here, I guess. . . .
I had higher hopes for him than I did for some of the rest of my staff. But he looks like the one that will be next to go, when I feel it's time for a move.
However, for the record, I am not gonna give up just yet. . . .
Good post though, made me laugh. Clever.
TomS. '12 H2H season standings: Team 1 = 140 - 118 - 12, 4 OF 12 Team 2 = 84 - 97 - 9, 6 OF 8

The loss in velocity has allowed opposing hitters to sit on Loaiza's cutter. He's working on building arm strength to get his velocity back up. We don't expect a collapse, but his 4.34 ERA is a fair figure to expect from Loaiza this season. He won't return to his 21-win, 2.90 ERA form of 2003.
lol... i dont think Jackal's gonna be too happy about this
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
I waited and waited
On draft day, you know.
I picked kents and chose browns
and even posada
I had beltran selected and
for some reason nomo (bleah)
When it rolled to me now
with pick ninety-six
how could I resist
the man in white sox.
I took him, I snagged him
I yanked him from the list
I expected a steal
but so far received
a high era and seldom a win
And now I am sad, for I have missed out
on better pitchers than him that
went through round nine.

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

Yes Jackal, where are you now? How's Loaiza doing? Oh, a 4+ ERA which Madison continually predicted and I agreed with and also expected. Get ready to eat some crow
I'm neither a proponent or opponent of Loiaza, but must I be the one to say it? This is like the other threads where people start pointing out the successes or failures of other players and start calling people on it.
The season is far from over....(there's still hope Jackal )
