A winning Spring...

Postby SweeneyTodd » Tue Mar 25, 2003 10:19 pm

...means next to nothing, of course. :-[ But still, isn't it nice to see the KC Kids with smiles and W's? I'm enjoying watching that potent lineup pounding some of the league - who cares if we're facing their rotations for the 2006 season?
Is there any hope for the Regular Season? Every pundit says there won't be much improvement over the worst season in KC history. How disheartening. Still, I watch, if for no other reason than to behold the grace of #29's swing as he dances out of Kaufmann with a higher BA than Team Winning Percentage in his final two contract years. <sigh> Oh for those late 70's/early 80's teams, and when will we ever see 1985 again? Too bad I was only 8 years old, couldn't fully appreciate it.
But hope Springs eternal...
