He is hitless in the few recent atbats he is getting.
Is every team going to walk him for the rest of the season? He often gets only one or two at bats a game. At this rate He could get as few as 300 at bats or even a lot less
I have an offer for him, Graves and Randy Johnson for Bonds. Do you think either of them will keep their pace ? If I traded him I would go for a good pitcher and a hitter.
One team has Gagne and Thome. I can give Eaton,Wright, or Kip Wells along with Bonds and Cintron.

As for the walks, well it's just going to happen...I mean the guy has no protection at all.

He's also sick as a dog, supposedly. I wouldn't worry, although the low # of at bats is going to continue to be a limiting factor, especially with Alou being so GD stubborn about leaving him in the #4 slot.
Everyone knew before the season started that his at bats would be few and far between. That's not really a new issue.
As to his timing, it's simply going to happen occasionally. He's not getting pitched to, so his timing is a little off. Completely understandable. How quickly can he correct it is the question........

it's ashame, he would normall be # 1 overall, He can even steal a few bases but he's been relegated to a late 1st rd pick cause h simply doesent get enough AB"s
Bonds has a sinus infection which messes up your equilibrium. To simulate, walk into a batters cage, and turn 360 degrees three times, then set yourself and try to hit the ball. It's hard has hell.
That said, if he breaks 450 at bats this year, I will be pleased. He will have between 100-150 walks, which is great in an OBP league, and will hit for a high average in his more limited at bats. The problem this year is the linup around him is horendous. If he hits 60 homers, he'll probably only score 100 runs and drive in 100 RBIs. For anybody else but bonds, that would be a 60 Run-60 RBI season... which is pathetic.
INKcogKNEEdough traded for him about 4 days ago........
0 for 15
His agent is on the phone with me now offering me a reward for trading him to anyone ANYONE else in the league......
stay tuned
