i would. bellhorn wont be playing too much whenever nomar decides to come back. pokey will probably play 2b and the horn will just be a utility man. hairston will probably get more playing time and hopefully a starting job somewhere.

There is also talk of Hairston perhaps moving to the outfield. He could take Matos's place if he continues to struggle. Hairston was having a great year last year before his injury. And I think he was having a decent early spring too before this year's injury.

I doubt one of them will move to the OF. I could more likely see Mora going back to OF and seeing either Hairston or Roberts at 3rd.

If Hairston gets the PT, I'd rather have him.

I still think one will get traded eventually...

We could deal 1 of our lower ranked pitching prospects like Mike Wood or John Rheinecker for one of the 2 second basemen...

Don't the A's already have like 4 options for 2B, some of which are injured? Menechino, McLemore, Scutaro, and Ellis. I doubt they'll open their wallets for another one, they're too cheap. And they spent all their money on a 3B and a washed up relief pitcher to try and be a closer. Taking on a somewhat unneccesary contract doesn't seem likely.
