Tejada- .275-30-110-10 (might get up to .280 at Camden)
Giles- .305-28-105-10 (Petco into consideration...I was thinking nearly 35 preseason)
Even with Tejada's position boost, I would rather have Giles and his higher average. What do y'all say? Projections would be very welcome.
These projections seem reasonable to me, but it's still probably not a good trade. What you need to do is take projections for whoever is replacing Tejada at shortstop and add those to Giles' projections. Then take the projections of who you are replacing in the OF with Giles and add those to Tejada's projections. Look at which combination is better and then go with them.

tejada in a heartbeat....about the same numbers for both, but Tejada is in a much better hitters park and that team will produce all year. Good move for you
Alan Trammell should be in the Hall

It really depends on your team. All else being equal, I'd rather have Tejada.
Yeah, quality OF's are easier to come by than a power hitting SS. I too think that your projected AVG is a bit low for Tejada.

both of miggy's HR's on sunday were uppercut swings but regardless he looks increasingly comfortable at the plate and almost ALWAYS has guys on base ahead of him, making it reasonable to assume he provides excellent value for a 2nd round draft pick.

Update:
Hey pw80bengals,
This trade has been accepted in Grand Slam (5632). There will now be a 2 day waiting period so this trade can be reviewed by the vote. We'll send you an email to let you know the final outcome.
Go Back to Coors Vin ChicksDigTheLong....
B. Giles
M. Tejada
I got me Miggy! And now Dye will be back in my lineup instead of Cintron (

) and consequently stop hitting homers and be cold again.
Thanks again for the help, guys. This board is invaluable.

Wow, you are spineless. Go back to the other thread so we can call you out on your total lack of morals and honor.
