I think Jeremy Bonderman belongs in the "not yet, but maybe someday" he has shown flashes of being a really good pitcher. Though it doesn't stand out at you, having an era last year in the 5's was pretty good for a 20 year old who never pitched above A ball before. He will only improve and is still the youngest pitcher in the majors I believe.

Good post! Harden will definately be a force..great stuff and is more than holding his own in his first season. Guy has Ace stuff and a great mental make-up. His last start VS the Yankees he gave up 4 runs in the 2nd (I think) and went on to shut em down the rest of the way and picked up the W
and I'll take Beckett over Zito every day of the week and twice on Sunday!

oh one other thing on Harden, reports have said that he also threw a new pitch in the yanks game. he was throwing a splitfinger fastball, which he hasn't thrown since spring training. harden said he used it more when he got ahead in the counts. an extra pitch on a good looking young pitcher never hurts.
Looking at that list I'd move peavy and Penny up as well. Peavy simply from the park he gets to pitch in, penny from the year he's had this year, even if I don't think it will last.
Great Info Hybrid....A good splitter along with that 96 mph gas...definitely a future stud IMO. HIs fastball actually seems to pick up speed after he releases it.
Yeah Sheets velocity is up, he's always had a great curve and he added a change up that he is getting comfortable with. His only potential issue is he has back problems that may cause him some IP's here and there. I think he can keep up the numbers he is posting this year so far all season, unfortunately though I love the Brewers, they aren't gonna make it to .500 this year which is going to lower his Wins.
