Why does he get no love? He's hitting .234 and still has 23 RBI. Batting 6th in that lineup, imagine if he hits .280. I'm not sure how to find a stat on RBI opportunities but I bet he's up there. I'm not saying he's a top OF, but does anyone else think he can knock in 120?
you're right he is good and gets no love, but no way does he knock in 120...too many studs in front of him to take the chances away. That team does and will score a ton of runs this year, so he'll knock in 90-100 and that's nopt shabby. His average will rise and he'll hit 25 hr...not bad

Looks like you answered your own question.
I'm a big supporter of Gibbons, but he's been riding my bench for most of the season. If he can bring that average up a bit, he'll be a great 3rd or 4th OF option. 120 RBI might be tough (that's a LOT of RBI), but I don't think 100+ is out of the question.

I give him no love because players that can hit 20-25 HR and knock in 90-100 are available all over the place. You can find quite a few on WW that are hitting more than sub- .240. Plus some of them can grab enough steals to add more value.
I honestly can't find any on the WW in my league.
Take his numbers from last year, 80-23-100-.277-0 (and I'd be surprised if he didn't improve upon that this year in that lineup). There isn't a single guy on waivers in my league (12 team mixed) that might approach that.
Here's a small list of players from my 12-team yahoo league that have a decent chance reach those kinds of numbers (I'll pick OF only).
Jody Gerut
Rocco Baldelli
Lance Nix
Matt Stairs
Aaron Guiel
Eric Byrnes
Ray Lankford
J.D Drew
Geoff Jenkins
Of course not all of these guys are available everywhere but I hope you get my basic idea. Gibbons chances might be slightly better to get 25-100 than some of these, but not enough to make him standout in a 12 team or smaller league. He is adequate.
Your league as some issues if Jenkins is on the FA market and nobody picked him up yet. He should hit 30 HR, 100 RBI batting 4th every day in miller park.

my thoughts exactly... i also think it's a stretch to think rocco or byrnes or guiel can hit 25...
