man...was waiting for someone to post about him. since everyone wanted him gone so badly for a relief pitcher who has never started a major league game. i told everyone his last game he made some good progress, but no one listened to me even though i saw the game. looks like someone was right, he has gotten ahead of the pitchers, thrown strikes, and this only will help his confidence. he has the stuff, it was just a matter of getting his mechanics straight and him throwing strikes. he has progressed from his last game into a solid outing tonight.

i think the threat of Madson nipping at his heels got him going tonight. sometimes thats all it takes to get someone to straighten out.
