He comes in the 6th inning with CLE up 8-6. He gives up 2 runs and now there are runners on first and second.

Glad I cut this Guy

I have Betancourt now so this just helps his job security, I guess. :-b

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Just gave up a 2RBi double. HE got lucky cuz Gibbons was thrown out at home. Good news For Betancourt owners! ;-D ME ;-D

But I was also hoping that CLE could keep the lead so Betancourt could pitch in a save situation :-t

Don't know why but that subject line is extraordinarily funny to me :-D

But why do the Indians continue to run him out there? How many games are they willing to lose before they throw in the towell on this bum? At this point I wouldn't even consider him for anything more than mop up duty in a rout and even then he'd be on a really short leash. I think they'd be better served if a position player pitched for them. Wade Boggs did it once back in '96.

Or why did the manager leave Riske out all inning? The double by Surhoff was Riske's 29th pitch of the inning.

Yeah, I was trying to be patient with Riske, but I suspect that he's going to be sent down now.
