Bonds won't see .400 in the near distance again after 2 weeks. It was way too early to talk .400.

What people forgot about Bonds hitting 400 - he gets so few AB's that an couple 0-3's kill his average, also he gets walked every favorable hitters oppurtumity and only get his REAL AB's in pitcher advantage AB's like bases empty etc... no way he hit 400, put him betting before a Manny Ramirez or in the Yankees lineup and we might have a different story

Bonds doesn't have a hit in his past 7 games, going 0-14 in that span. Maybe after all those walks he forgot how to hit
After people think he isn't as dominant as perceived, they'll pitch to him and he'll go 3-3 with 2 HR
