I'm facing the last place team in my H2H league $ team this week.

He chose to start guys like Damon over Hidalgo...for some unexplainable reason. He's kicking my ass in SBs, so he doesn't need those...he could've also stuck in Hidalgo for the ice cold Mueller by sliding Mora to 3B.

Instead, he starts this horrible lineup. He gets 10 runs today...to my disgusting three (Kent, Hinske, Helton all 0-for'd...Berkman didn't play). He'll be up by six in Rs against me now...even though his team is levels worse than mine hitting. It seems like he knows something I don't by pulling these managerial decisions.

Anybody else have any strange stories of bad managing paying off this week?

Sure. Nothing this year so far but I've had weeks in H2H where I've been decimated by a team whose manager couldn't manage his way out of wet paper sack. Never underestimate the power of naivety.

Too true. I only play roto baseball but in my H2H football league it's always the guy that gave up by Week 6 that manages to have a good week against me.

few weeks ago , guy i plaed (active) had Coco Crisp in cenetr all week & he never played, He had m Bradley on bench ,

Crisp ended up playing on sun , stole a base & he won that 4 the week, maybe that was his startegy ???

A couple days ago I accidentally kept Sheff on the bench after an off-day by the Yankees, and left in Brian Roberts in my utility spot. Roberts stole 4 bases and scored 4 runs, while Sheff went 0-4.
