i think i've noted this on here roughly three times, so what's a fourth?

vidro seems to waver between good years and mediocre-plus years... sure he could go .320/20/90, but he could also go .315/15/65 like nobody's business

see call me a weirdo, but if it's .315/15/65 while the average is nice, without steals, i'm going to go for 20/80 or 20 steals from 2B. therefore, i cut vidro free and now ride the willie harris express in the league that i have him.

for what its worth, i have the mightily injured marcus giles at 2nd in my other two leagues.

if vidro could steal 15-25 bases, then .315/15/65 is great. but since at most he'll get something wholly unspectacular like, say, two, then you gotta be like "eff that" and dial up the roto gods in the hopes of outproducing the 2nd greatest remaining expo.
