What is with all the Cubs offense dissing? Sosa, Alou, Ramirez, and D Lee are pretty good hitters last time I checked. While they arent better than the cards, its not hitting that wins you the playoffs. Its pitching. Thats why the Cardinals wont be making the playoffs this year. There staff is a joked compared to the cubs and the astros. On a side note, give me the Cubs staff over the Astros any day .

Cubsfan also just agreed with me that Cubs have a worse lineup than St. Louis. And jpbusta just seemed disgusted with your choices that he felt there was no use of arguing if you thought those teams were better. That's just my take though.

Oh I have looked. Berkman had an offyear last season but still put up stats close to Chipper. The year before he blew Chipper completely out of the water. Berkman is also younger and in his prime. Chipper has declined ALOT over the past years and is getting older.

Most people will say Berkman definately is better than Chipper.
