well today i couldnt take it anymore. after a 4-1-3-4 type day, i believe him hitting .340+/5/30, i had to give paul konerko some bench and welcome lyle overbay to the crew.

both of my teams with overbay have solid power OFs so i can tinker around with the infield, and konerko was hte de facto guy i was hoping for .280/20-25/75-95 from, but he's turned sour.

i'm kind of afraid that lyle has shot his wad already with the #s that were previously mentioned, however, like, give love a chance? nah'mean?

has anyone watched lyle do his thing? i think he was once a B or better grade prospect in the diamondbacks organization, and he seems to be the main cog of the sexson trade, so there's some talent here, right?

i mean, at this point, i dont think you get to .340/5/30 on a pretty bad team on 100% luck, right?

i want to know what this kid is on, when he was a prospect i knew he would hit for a good avg, cause that was one thing that the d'backs liked about him. but man, how do produce that many runs on the brewers?!? it obviously won't last but still, good for him....though the brewers will have to move him to a diff position or trade him w/ in the next year or so. as well as he is hitting, doesn't change that prince fielder is whipping up competition in double a.
