I see he gave up 2 hits, but I don't see any earned runs, so I'm happy enough.

i wonder if wedge is planning on using his closer as a stopper sometimes... which is what this seems to have been... basically he needed the orioles shut down that inning so he brought in his top reliever... that is both good and bad, I suppose... that would mean he has confidence in him, but also means that he'll pitch quite a bit in non-save situations.

betancourt needs to blow some saves before he loses the job.
