I have no DL slot in my league (12 team head to head). Trot nixon, Larry Walker, and Preston Wilson are all on waivers. Just looking at the names, which ones would you pick up right now???? They are all currently on DL.

Definitely Wilson and Nixon; I wouldn't touch walker but that just might be because I never liked him much.

Yeah I know Preston is a badass, but is it worth giving up a roster spot and waiting it out just yet? When is Nixon and Walker expected back???

This is what yahoo has on Nixon and Walker:
"May 3 The Boston Globe reports Boston Red Sox OF Trot Nixon (quadriceps/disk) suffered an injury to his left quadriceps on Saturday that will further delay his return. He is expected to be limited to batting practice for at least two days before he resumes trying to play his way back from a mildly herniated disk. "
"May 3 Walker will join the Colorado Rockies for their six-game road trip that begins Tuesday against the Montreal Expos. However, the outfielder, who continues to recover from a strained left groin, likely will not make his season debut until the middle of the month."

Would anyone who had to basically take 0's across the board for 6 weeks drop an outfielder and pick up Preston Wilson???

In a roto league? Of course not. 6 weeks is a long time. If its head 2 head and your team can win without an OFer, could be worth it to wait on Preston.
