the guy has had 4 quality starts in a row now, and seems to be pitching quite well. We all know he has the offense to support him, so he's shaping up to be a sleeper big time in my books.
Any angel's fans or any others have the goods on Lackey, as far as what is upside should be, wether he can continue?

Yes, he has shaped up to a sleeper this year, but I don't think he is that great, member when he pitched that game in the World series, then the next year everyone thought he would be good, well im not saying he was that good, but he was definitly ok and still is just ok.

Ya that was last year. I hope people still remember 2003 (the year after they won the Series in 2002).
But seriously John Lackey is a little bit of an enigma. He was great in 2002 and then subpar in 2003. However he started to turn things around toward the end of the season. His ERA was well over 5 for most of the year but he brought it down to about 4 1/2 ish. This is only his third season and he looks to be continueing from where he left off at the end of last season. However I'd still wait on him. Tampa Bay's offense isn't in all that great of shakes but a 3 hitter is still exceptional.
I guess he a let's wait and find out.
