J Marquis (L,2-2) 3 12 13 13 4 1 2
The stats you see on top are Jason Marquis results form last nights 22-0 loss to the indians! Don't ask me how that happened! He pitched three innings gave up 13 hits and 12 earned runs. That is not just subpar, that is DISGUSTING! Back to the minors young man!

Wow, I guess that answers the Horacio Ramirez question for everyone. As a Braves fan I'd rather see Ramirez get a chance anyway - or Trey Hodges. Bye bye Marquis.
Swing hard, just in case you hit the ball.

This is just another instance of why spring training is not a good indicator of how a player is going to do in the regular season. They put guys in just to get work. Heck, Armando Benitez comes in in the 5th inning for two innings of work. Players play to get more experience, etc., etc.
I love spring training, but it is a melting pot of different strategies and attitudes from the teams.
As a Metsfan however, I say congrats to the Indians.

Well Look who has come to the cafe, It's Mr. Met!

I don't think they will return to the Braves of the 80's. They have plenty of great young arms on the farms just waiting for a shot @ the majors. You know what I would like to see? I'd like to see the braves trade Vinny Castilla away and move Chipper back to 3rd and then sign Brian Giles, who wants to be a Brave anyway.

Marquis is a waste of space. As is Vinny. 3 inn. 12 ER.. lol. Couldnt happen to a nicer guy. Braves of the 80's? Negative. Losing Millwood hurt.. losing Glavine.. thats ok with me. This way if we face the Mets in the playoffs(if the Mets make it) Glavine for once can be the Braves MVP. Cause he sure as hell cant pitch in the postseason.
