I like Oswalt this year more than I've ever liked him; this is due not only to his injury-free season thus far but to his development of a good changeup that he is using successfully. I think that extra pitch secures him in the elite and will put him neck and neck with Wood this year for the Cy.

johnson and clemens will never last. They are old men. Eventually the bandbox that minute maid is will catch up to Clemens, and Johnson will see injury problems before the end of the year. I can think of 4 others who are pitching extremely well right now, and that Wood, Oswalt, Clement, and Zambrano. These guys have pitched amazing, but Wood has lacked run support. He should be 5-0 but that offense refuses to give him runs. Clement and Zambrano have been pitching ridiculous. Oswalt has also been great. But I still think Wood will win it.
