Flushing, NY (Sports Network) - New York Mets third baseman Ty Wigginton was activated from the 15-day disabled list for Friday night's game against the Milwaukee Brewers.
Wigginton missed 14 games with an ulcer. He fainted at home after a game on April 20 and experienced dizziness in the dugout the following day.
The 26-year-old third baseman batted .188 with two home runs and nine RBI in 13 games so far this season.
To make room on the roster, the Mets optioned outfielder Jeff Duncan to Triple-A Norfolk.
