Beltran is great, and so is pujols...age is almost the same, pujols is probly the better hitter, but beltran will score more runs and get 40+ steals...tough call, ide rather have beltran, but thats just my opinion...
It's a tough call...but I'd have to go with Pujols. He'll get more R, RBI, HR, and have a much better BA. The 50 SB's Carlos might get doesn't quite make up for that.

I have Pujols on my team and I'd take him over just about anyone with the exception of A-Rod. His homeruns will beat Beltran by 10-15, by 10-20 RBIs possibly, and about 20 points higher on his BA. He'll also score alot of runs batting ahead of Edmonds, Rolen, Renteria and Sanders. Keep Pujols.
not so sure he gets 15 more hr's than beltran. he only had 13 more last year, but beltran missed over 100 ab. I think it is a tossup and honestly think beltran could finish as fantasy's number one. I gues sit depends on your needs, but I like having beltran use only one roster spot to have excellent stats in all five cats. that is tough to replace.

They might not be a blowout, but Pujols will probably do everything better except SB's. If you need SB's, keep Beltran I guess. If you have a guy like Sanchez/Pods, then get Pujols. These two are looking like the #1 and #2 fantasy players heading into next season, unless A-Rod pulls his head out of his ass. Position eligibility will always keep him near #1 anyway, so I guess those 3 along with Soriano will be 1-4. Just like I ranked them in the pre-season Vlad who?

It's a tough call, Pujols gives you around 15 homers and 20 more rbi's then Beltran, and Beltran will give you way more stolen bases and probably a better average, but in my opinion I would get Pujols.
If i HAD to pick one or the other i would go with beltran, but that is only if i HAD to pick one or the other and the difference is very very negligible.....this is a simple case of you cant really go wrong with either one of them. Put it this way if I was 'on deck' as far as drafting and the guy in front of me picked either one of them i would not be dissappointed in the LEAST to have the other fall to me. Hell i would probably be happier that way than having to choose one or the other myself.

Pujols is the second best hitter in baseball, next to Bonds. There's no way Beltran will have a better BA than him.
