I feel for his family to say the least especially if he has kids.
Presuming the facts are as the story makes it sound,,,,,,i DON'T feel a whole lot of pity for the victim though..... If you get out of your car and hit someone in the head(or anywhere else for that matter) with a bat(albeit a mini bat) you HAVE to be prepared to face the consequences. That said i am sure there is more to this story than at first appears. Just another case of road rage getting out of control, and a sad testement to what has become of our world.
What's scary is that I can imagine how easy it would be for something like this to start.
If I almost got hit by a car, I might instinctively hit with my hand. Although I don't think I'd proceed to break a bat over the guy's head, it's still frightening to think that a short fuse could lead to your getting shot.
Welcome to the city. Not the nicest place in the world, and the victim provoked it. Unfortunetly for him, the guy had a handgun. Handgun>bat. Handgun wins. Sad story, but you cant lose your temper that easily when the streets are filled with gangs and people carrying guns. You can get shot there for wearing your damn hat the wrong way. (More on the southside though)
I obviously dont know the whole story but i would say the guy that shot him has a legitimate shot at walking on this too..... i can already hear it....."he hit my friend with a bat, i feared for his life,,,,i shot him".....and truthfully it is not all that far fetched.
