Jaosn Schmidt's Health

Postby Steve Kemp » Fri May 07, 2004 10:45 am

He's had a few strong starts and his value will only go up at this rate. Should I make a move for him now or is his health still worrisome? Thoughts?
Alan Trammell should be in the Hall

You can try to make a move, but after his last couple starts you may well be paying a premium price......... I just made a trade for him a couple weeks ago......traded Russ Ortiz, Crawford and Kotsay for Schmidt and Luis Gonzales (the good one).......

Im not worried about Schmidt anymore after his last three starts, I think hes finding his groove.

plus the 10 K's he had. He's looking better and better each start. It just sucks he didn't get the win for such a great day he had.

He's one of, if not the best SP's in baseball. I would have no worries at all trading for him. And it's paying off that I drafted him in the 3rd round in most of my leagues.
