91 Ford F150 that gets about 14 mpg city 17mpg highway. Great with the CA gas prices, let me tell you.

My wife drives a 99 Toyota Corolla, but it's purple, so I'm not too keen about sporting it around town.

I'm driving a 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertable. It used to be red, but it's pretty orange now from all the years.

I do love the car, though. It runs, it's fun to work on, and I'm 100%certain that it has gotten me girls phone numbers in the past.

OBTW - let me tell you about my first car. When I was young I went over to this old lady's house once every few months with my mom - just being nice to an old recluse. Well, she passed away about a month before my 16th birthday and I was informed I was included in her will. Cool, I thought - but she was a collector, so it could have been any old piece of junk in her basement.
Turns out she had a car. 1964 Nash Rambler - mint. Original everything. Less than 20,000 miles on it. Even the little clock still worked. And she left it to me.

What I think is funny is that an internet newsservice had to "break" the story. This still hasent come across the mainstream media's path yet. Anyone think that maybe - just maybe - mainstream media is trying to spike this story since it is a blemish against the push for alternative energy sources? When was the last time you saw or heard a news story regarding how expensive the transition will be, how far we actually have to go for it to be economically feasable, or how effective it actually is? When was the last time you heard someone blaming SUV drivers, or heard some leftwing Hollywood shill saying how much they loved their foreign hybrid?
