I'm in a straight points league where saves doesn't really matter just the points you get for the inning and the save. Is R. Lopez the first man of the bench for the Orioles and does he usually pitch more than one inning? If so I'm thinking of picking him up so he can rack me up at least two innings a day........Good Idea or not

Lopez pitched four scoreless innings for me the other night. I say get him.

However, I do wonder what might happen later in the year when situations arise facing the Yankees and Red Sox and he inhereits baserunners with a slugger like Manny or A-Rod stepping up to the plate.....should be interesting to say the least.

Yes and Yes. He is the first out of the pen and usually goes a few innings especially when Baltimore's SP suck, which is often. He might become a starter though, so be aware.

He is the guy they are going to for long relief but he won't pitch 2 inniungs a day

In your league he would be worth grabbing because coming out of the bullpen like this appears to agree with him. He is on fire at the moment and should rack up the innings for you without hurting your ERA / WHIP. Should burgle a few wins for you as well

Yeah if they put him at SP he probably would not put up as inspiring numbers. Because he is now in relief he is able to pitch with greater velocity than before.

Is Lopez going to be put into the rotation soon? And would it be better to pick up him or BK Kim?
