HAHA, pitched one inning, gave up 3 runs and 4hits. Valverde's job is looking safer and safer.

actually only 2 earned runs. Who cares though, he is done. Whatever happened to him?? I know he has had problems with blisters in the past but Arizona definatly saw somthing in him to give him that huge contract.

This is good. I have Valverde and like you said his job is looking safer and safer. Kinda sad, they weren't even putting Mantei in when the game was close. Just seeing if he could still do ANYTHING positive and I think he showed everyone that he couldn't.

Maybe he was trying new pitches since the ones he was using wasn't working? :*)

Or maybe he just sucks and is letting my Valverde gain more job security ;-D
