After my first look I was shocked, but Rivera being the OF makes this a fine trade! Rodrigo Lopez has been getting good support and hasn't pitched bad and Berkman will boost any offense!
well, its getting protested. Now Rivera is headed to the DL with a fractured kneecap, and the owner who would be giving me Berkman and Lopez is asking people to protest the trade. Only one more protest needed before its automatically thrown out, sigh.
Was the trade made before or after the injury? If it was before and your league doesn't have a clause covering injuries while trades are pending, that's pretty poor sportsmanship on the part of the other team... Oh well - good luck trying to rework it or put a different deal together.

Oh well, better luck next time...
Yep, that Clemens guy is pretty good, but my league always jumps the gun on trades, there are a number of people that think they know more than the other owners, and I guess they feel it is their need to inform the other owners about how much they know about baseball by protesting, lol. Anyway, too bad those know-it-alls are below me in the standings. Wonder why???? hmmmm..
