I wouldn't use Payton as evidence of a good line-up.

The Pads are better, but they still only have one guy who is a really good hitter (Giles).

give the fart a chance. i'm sure he learned some valuable lessons while with the Yanks. Sure, they're not a power juiced up squad, but this 'finesse hitting' team could go the distance this year. not only is it a pitcher's park, but the big park will teach the team to place balls better, when needed. this'll help in the long run no doubt. when they get the green light to swing away, they'll be hitting it out of other parks.
