I think this is a very solid-looking team. Your IF is talented. Kendall: I think he is primed for a big year and he is still in his prime. Lee: decent second-tier option at 1st; not sure if those 19 steals will come back though.... Vidro: great contact hitter who gives some power and fantastic average. Guzman: yeah, weak but what the hell; as good as anyone you're likely to get in the 19th round. Hillenbrand/Lowell: nice platoon options you've got here. If Shea stays hot into the season, I might look to deal him and keep the very steady Lowell. That OF is a little ridiculous, especially if Floyd stays healthy all year....you are stacked. Your Utility spot is allright. A couple DH's who give you no flexibility but should put up decent numbers and a starting 1B, who while good, would be much more valuable if he still qualified at catcher.

Your rotation is very strong. Nothing to complain about there. Zito/Colon/Halladay/Vasquez is an excellent core and Sabathia and Lawrence are nice guys to round it out with. Outstanding closers!

You have five guys (Vlad,Zito,Abreu,Colon,Vidro) who were taken in the first three rounds of my ten-team league......so nice job and perhaps a bit of luck?

I'd be interested to find out the exact stats you are using and how much experience the other owners had drafting.....

Hope this helps.....

Hooligan...

We use a 6X6 with:
BA R HR RBI SB OBP
and
W S K's WHIP ERA OBA

I had the 3rd pick and went with Vlad, then Zito, Abreu, Vidro.

I got very fortunate to pick up G Anderson (always underrated) and Floyd back to back with my 8 and 9 picks...

Every owner we have has played roto ball for at least 3 years, all in this same league, so it's very competitive. although I must admit some of their strategies this year left me puzzled.

Thanks for the feedback
