I thought I had a pretty strong team. It's H2H, 10 team, points league. Start any 7 pitchers a week. I'm 3rd in overall points scored, but deadlast in record- 1-3. I've been getting only lowball offers for my players as far as trades go so I havent made any. When I try and counter offer they reject it and then wind up trading the player(s) I was interested in to someone else and wont give me feedback as to what they are thinking. I have a chance to get Prior right now but he wants a big bat. Giambi or Soriano. I think I could afford giving up Giambi but he's heating up and it might hurt me in the long run. Should i sit with the team I've got and hope they just turn it up more or should i try making some trades? I just dont know why I'm deadlast.

Hold off on Prior til you hear that he is coming back, if you're 1-3 and dead last why would you package someone that will help you now for someone who may not come back at all. Just be patient, its early and most of those guys will heat up SOON. I kind of go by the law of averages eventually proven players will begin to heat up as soon the the heat begins to rise.

Your lineup looks solid, you've just been unfortunate to have a bunch of slow starters. Hang in there for another 2-3 weeks before you begin pressing any panic buttons.
