I'm in a 4x4 10 team league and have an opening in my IR spot since I just activated "Pudge". I just picked up Curtis Leskanic and put him on IR and I can put one other person in there. I'm second in my league and here is my breaking in scoring:
Is there anyone I should pick up and put them on IR and wait until they get healthy? Or try and trade for an injured player.

Well, if you can trade for, say Manny Ramirez, that would be nice. Most likely, though, you'll just have to pick up someone off the free agent list. If a closer such as Zimmerman or Gordon is still available, that might be a good idea. Neither is guaranteed a job, but you'll be sitting pretty if the gamble does pay off.
Who do you think I should try and trade for Manny?
The team that has Manny has a lineup of this:
Batting: 4th (BA), 3rd (HR), 4th (RBI), 9th (SB)
Biggio, Craig
Erstad, Darin
Guzman, Cristian
Hidalgo, Richard
Lee, Carlos
Nevin, Phil
Nixon, Trot
Posada, Jorge
Sheffield, Gary
Thome, Jim
Ward, Daryle
Williams, Bernie
Wilson, Dan
Pitching: 9th (ERA), 4th (K), 6th (Saves), 4th (Wins)
Astacio, Pedro
Benitez, Armando
Burnett, A.J.
Gagne, Eric
Hudson, Tim
Ishii, Kazuhisa
Ortiz, Ramon
Park, Chan Ho
Rhodes, Arthur
Everyone will have a different opinion on what Manny's worth now. If his current owner is frustrated and/or desperate, you might be able to pick up a bargain. I'd bypass the guessing game and simply ask whether he's interested in dealing, and who he would want for Ramirez. If you can get the deal done for two of your middle tier of's, for example, I'd jump on it.
Sounds all right, but this is pretty risky. If Manny shows lingering effects from the injury or Hinske falters, this could leave you in a hole. If you're a risk-taker, this looks good, but if you play a more conservative style, I'd lay off.
Perhaps the best way to go would be to try Anderson/Eckstein first.
Thanks for the advice. I proposed the trade of Eckstien/Anderson for Manny so we'll see what happens. I also wanted to know what you thought about this trade that I also offered:
