Garret Anderson Latest News May. 5, 2004 - 9:07 am et
The Angels expect to activate Garret Anderson (stiff upper back) off the disabled list later this week.
Anderson is much better, but will still likely play with some back stiffness for the first little while upon his return to action.

Good...I'm sick of Juan Gone.

What does Juan Gon have to do with GA?
And I like that, "stiff upper back". Sounds like an AC/DC song

My guess is that Juan Gon is the player he played while he had GA benched.
Hopefully he's healthy and ready to tear it up.
I believe there ought to be a constitutional amendment outlawing Astroturf and the designated hitter. -Crash Davis

Well Yahoo got me kind of nervous today reporting that he may have rheumatoid arthritis and will be seeing a specialist today. Only nervous because I am in the middle of picking him up. I have a trade pending where I am giving up Josh Beckett for GA straight up. What do you all think of that trade?
I'll still have:
Oswalt
Webb
Glavine
Lieber
Graves
Wagner
Smoltz
Urbina
& K-Rod
There are only nine teams in this league and it is Rotisserie. My offense is very good also but I'm sure any lineup could benefit from Anderson. Should I stick with this deal?

They will still have an open spot for Figgins until Salmon is back.

Mike DiGiovanna of The Los Angeles Times reports Anaheim Angels OF Garret Anderson (neck/back) will see a specialist on Thursday who will test Anderson for rheumatoid arthritis, a progressive disease characterized by inflammation and swelling of joint structures.
that cant be good news.
