Pinero for Griffey Jr.

I have been offered Pinero for Junior.

I'm slim in the OF, but I don't know if Junior can play anymore. My pitching is pretty weak with Irabu, Ishii, Lilly, Escobar, Jimenez, Stewart, Harang, R. Lopez, Rogers, C. Hernandez and O. Hernandez.

But, OF is even weaker with Dunn, Abreu, Mondesi Sanchez, Jeremy Giambi, Marrero and Junior.

What do you guys think?

Your of actually doesn't look that bad... Anyway, what to do with Griffey is a tough question. If he's on the shelf for a significant amount of time, any return is better than none. On the other hand, you might be able to get a somewhat higher return. It's a tough call, and depends on how much of a disaster it would be for your team to lose Griffey without getting any compensation except a free agent pick. I'd probably hope for the best, and hold out for a higher offer. Most likely, someone will be willing to take a chance on him.
