I know alot of frontrunning Yankee fans do it too, though.
It irks me when anyone brings up irrelevant info and can't back it up. That is definitely the case here.
By the way, Ramiro Mendoza used to play for the Yankees, so clearly the Sox are better. But, wait, Tony Clark used to play for the Red Sox. What do we do?

in response to the point about wearing a sox cap to yankee stadium i agree. I have seen many an opposition fan get beat up or treated really poorly at yankee stadium, not something yankee fans should be proud of.
In contrast i sat in the bleachers of fenway last year with my girlfriend, both of us wearing yankees gear and everyone was really cool and respectfull. i anticipated the worst but was pleasantly suprised of course a lot of people busted my balls but it was all in fun and not mean spirited at all.
so while red sox fans are definitely way more annoying around town, in my experience they are great hosts.

wow, I heard of one game between the sox and orioles at fenway and there was a guy with an orioles shirt on who was getting crap from the fans and he finally had had enough so he stood up and ripped his shirt off and he had a yankees shirt on underneath, lol. He got bombarded with everything you canimagine with his girlfriend sitting next to him. The security had to escort this guy out of the stadium because he was getting absolutely nailed.
