Question for next year...

I'll play devil's advocate on this one. How many people got burned banking on a stud pitcher or an obvious favorite? Having extra games (Fri) isn't going to change that aspect of the game in my opinion. I'd say just using Sat and Sun games are just fine the way it is.

2 bye weeks is an interesting proposition though. It's a long season and an extra bye week would add to the game in a positive way, in my opinion. A little more strategy, both in the beginning when you have tons of picks left, and toward the end when you are hanging on to your last one. Certainly interesting and worth some thought. :-?

I would like to say that I found the game very fun and entertaining (even though I've been bounced !+) ). I'm looking forward to following it and seeing who ends up winning the whole thing. Good luck to everyone who has advanced to this week. ;-D

i agree, because i don't know if this round will make it past the all star break. Also, two byes would be good, or if there were some way to pick up extra picks, to keep it going longer.
Bear in mind, I've been trying to get a life...

Maybe there would be a way to reward a perfect week w/ a bonus pick... But I could definitely see that stretching it out forever!!!!!

I saw that you guys added a little icon that can go next to your Avatar if you get through week 12 of wicked weekend. That seems pretty tough though. I'm not sure is anyone (even the winner) will make it that far. Maybe next time make the icon available to the top 5% of finishers instead.

Don't worry - if necessary we can always reduce that number as the game unfolds. Obviously we didn't know how the game would develop, and to be on the safe side we picked a high number. By the way, 5% would be 4 players - they will easily be in the game after week 12. ;-)
