I don't think they've started him v. a lefty starter yet...but the guy pitching against the Brewers tonight is a righty. So I don't know why he isnt in.

Weird, Spivey is a much better hitter against lefties.

Ginter was originally going to start every day for the brewers at 2b because of a good little season he had last year but then they got spivey in the trade. Brewers have said they are going to try to get Ginter 400 AB's if at all posible. He fills in at 3b, 1b, 2b and might even fill in OF later on in year, so sometimes spivey sits so he can play. Its a once every other week or so type situation.

Junior Spivey - 2B - Brewers
May. 5 - 11:36 am et
Junior Spivey isn't expected to start for the Brewers until this weekend because of a hamstring injury.
Spivey also sat out last night's game because of the injury. He been undergoing treatment for the injury since hurting it last week. Spivey has had hamstring problems in the past, so this is something to watch carefully.
