I have AJ Burnett and Robb Nen on my team. Are they worth keeping or should I try and trade them? Also what are you projections for them for 2003 with their injuries?

You should definitely keep Nen. He should probably be ready on opening day. It is not worth it to try to trade an injured player, you rarely get equal value in return....
I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize.

So will Burnett be better than last year or worse? It's possible I could trade him to someone who doesn't know he's banged up. How will his injury affect him?

Right now Burnett's injury is affecting him by keeping him out of the lineup. Josh Beckett is already scheduled to start on Opening Day. If you're looking to trade him, you'd better do it soon. As soon as he has a DL label next to his name, his value will plummet.

i'd see if i could package burnett with a decent hitter (.280/20/70) and take the best deal i could get. if burnett's an injury risk, i don't think he'll hold much value by himself, however if you're able to offer someone a solid backup to starter position player, they might be willing to take on that risk and part with something useful to you.

If you want the other owners to respect you, you will not try to pawn off an injured player hoping they will not know about it. Whenever I get offered a trade with an injured player I interpret that as the other owner saying "I am offering you this trade because I think you are stupid". I never deal with these owners again.
Just a thought.

Yeah, I sometimes do that also Metsfan, but the league in the league I'm in I know everyone personally and I really think I could trade Burnett and maybe a Cliff Floyd, Renteria, or Cameron for a better starting pitcher.
