What are you talking about?

He has a great career ahead of him in celebrity wrestling. Of course he will probably quickly run out of fat old guys to challenge, but it should be worth a few Benjamins while it lasts.

Add Damon to that list. :-/

Good point. ;-D

Guys.......Let's not turn this into a racial thing. I don't feel like editing, deleting, and moving. O.K.?? Let's keep this as the semi-intelligent discussion that it is. ;-)

its about respect....pedro is the best has been the best., but since he isn't surround with high price talent, and or not in pinstrips he is considered less of a player....no way zito should have gotten cy young that year over him.,. and when nomar and trot are back, it will make him a specail player this year., stop hating on pedro cause he isn't winning WS when there hasnt' been a pen, or a team even close to the yankees in boston....this year its finally close to even, and he will excel

Semi-intelligent? Giving Damon a haircut would be the smartest decision in baseball all year. ;-D

Slap some flannel and overalls on that boy, give him an axe, and he could clear an acre of forest no problem ;-) .

Hunhhh????

The Red Sox team salary is $130M

RJ's team $70M
Zito's team $60M
Roy Halladay's team $50M
Burnett's team $42 M
Kip Wells' team $32M

not surrounded by high priced talent???
he's surrounded by the second most expensive team.

To the best of my recollection, nobody said anything about Pedro not winning the World Series. Mostly they just said that he's an arrogant oink and needs to shut up and play baseball. Which is pretty accurate.

He signed the contract, he can play it out and get a new one. There's no reason to talk about it.

Pedro is making $17.5 million this year, which makes him the highest paid pitcher in baseball this year. Is that enough money in his pocket or should the owners go bankrupt paying him as much as he wants?

Im so sure if any of you were in the major leaguers you would refuse to be paid 17.5 millions cause is just too much money
